The house rules of Nagyerdei Water Tower, operated by the Operator, contain the mandatory entry and conduct rules applicable to Nagyerdei Water Tower.

By entering the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, the Guest acknowledges and accepts these house rules, and acknowledges that the Operator monitors compliance with them for the purpose of ensuring the personal and property safety of Guests, as well as the legitimate interests of the facility.

Opening hours

The spaces of Nagyerdei Water Tower, especially its garden, also function as a community space and may be visited at seasonally varying times from Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 22:00 (00:00), on Friday and Saturday from 10:00 to 02:00 (04:00), and on Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00 (00:00). Any opening hours differing from these will be indicated on our website/Facebook page. Opening hours may vary seasonally and depending on the programs.
Everyone may visit Nagyerdei Water Tower and its events only at their own risk.

The Operator reserves the right to change the program and ticket prices. Concerts and other events will also be held in adverse weather conditions.

In the event of any deviation from this, the Organizer will inform the audience of the cancellation of the event via its website and Facebook page no later than two hours before the start of the concert/event.

If it is not possible to set a replacement date, or if the new date is not suitable for the guest, the Organizer will refund the ticket price to the guest and will inform guests via its Facebook page about the method and deadline for ticket refunds.

Except in the case of cancellation of the concert/event, tickets cannot be refunded in any other cases.

The times indicated on the ticket and on the website are for information purposes only; the duration of concerts and any other events following them may differ from the announced duration.

Entry to the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower

The Operator has the right to charge different admission fees for different programs, to set age restrictions for its events, and to keep certain areas closed at its discretion or restrict access to them in connection with private events. The Operator reserves the right of admission!
Before entering the event area, those who are required to do so under the legislation in force at the time must prepare and, upon entry, present their official certificate suitable for proving protection against coronavirus, as well as a photo ID suitable for identification and age verification. These must be kept with them throughout the entire duration of the Event and must be presented again to security staff upon request. Participants under the age of 18 who do not have an immunity certificate must remain together with the adult supervising them who holds an immunity certificate throughout the entire duration of the Event, until they leave the Event.
A purchased ticket entitles the holder to a wristband granting entry to the given event only if the ticket is original, has not yet been used, and was lawfully obtained by its holder. The Operator/Organizer expressly reserves the right, if during admission there is suspicion that the ticket was not obtained lawfully by the ticket holder — particularly, but not exclusively, in the event of suspected bank card fraud — to request documents and/or certificates from the ticket holder proving the lawful acquisition or purchase of the ticket, to assess their adequacy at its own discretion, and, in the absence of adequate documentation or certification, to invalidate the ticket without any obligation to refund the purchase price and to deny entry. The Operator or Organizer is likewise entitled to deny entry to the event if the ticket holder attempts to enter with a false, forged, or previously used ticket.
Damage to or loss of the wristband falls exclusively within the Guest’s responsibility; therefore, if such an event occurs, the Guest loses the rights granted by an intact wristband and is obliged to leave the program venue. A damaged wristband — reattached, cut, larger in diameter than the hand, or manipulated in any other way — is invalid. The Operator or Organizer will not replace or exchange a damaged or lost wristband. The Operator or Organizer also reserves the right to continuously check the presence of wristbands of persons staying on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower. The Operator or Organizer expressly reserves the right, if during admission there is suspicion that the wristband is not original, is false, forged, reattached from a previous event, or otherwise manipulated, to deny entry. If, during an on-site check of the wristbands of persons staying on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, it is established that the Guest does not have a wristband, or that the wristband is invalid, and the Guest does not leave the program venue, the Guest will be removed from the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower.
The Operator or Organizer excludes the exchange, replacement, refund, or any other reimbursement of the purchase value of tickets, except in the event that the given program is cancelled. In the latter case, the deadline for refunding tickets is 15 days following the day of the cancelled program.
Entry to and exit from the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower is permitted only through open entrances guarded by the organizers. Pursuant to Section 26 of Act CXXXIII of 2005 on the rules governing personal and property protection activities and private investigation activities, the Operator is entitled to inspect bags at the entrance to and on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, to remove certain persons, and to prevent their entry. In order to ensure compliance with the house rules, the Operator uses the assistance of a personal and property protection service defined in Act CXXXIII of 2005 on the rules governing personal and property protection activities and private investigation activities. By entering, the Guest expressly undertakes to cooperate fully with these contributors within the limits of the law and to follow their instructions in the event of an emergency.
A person may be prevented from entering the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower if they:
– do not submit to the required security inspection;
– wear inappropriate or dirty clothing, or their general hygiene condition is inadequate;
– cannot verify their age with an identity card or another credible document;
– have previously been removed from the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower;
– are intoxicated, under the influence, or under the influence of narcotics;
– behave in a scandalous, indecent, or unlawful manner, or otherwise burden other participants in a similar manner;
– possess, use, and/or abuse any substance classified as a narcotic under the applicable laws;
– do not have an admission ticket granting entry to the given event;
– possess narcotics, pyrotechnic devices, objects or devices containing explosive, toxic, or flammable substances, tools suitable for making graffiti, spray paint and felt-tip pens, as well as firearms, knives, butterfly knives, switchblades, gas sprays, hairspray, tasers, handcuffs, weighted batons, telescopic batons, metal chains, throwing stars, slingshots, or any other devices classified under the legislation in force at any time as particularly dangerous to public safety — currently those listed in Government Decree 175/2003 (X. 28.);
– wear any prohibited totalitarian symbol defined in Section 335 of the Hungarian Criminal Code.
The admission fee cannot be reclaimed by anyone who was denied entry to or removed from the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower for the above reasons.
Guests under the age of 18 may enter only when accompanied by an adult.
Objects whose possession is unlawful, or which otherwise pose a danger to the safety of persons staying on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, may not be brought onto the premises and must be removed from them.
Any unlawful appropriation/theft/ or other unlawful act or disturbance will result in police action!
Animals may be admitted only to the open area of Nagyerdei Water Tower, exclusively to the garden area — in addition to assistance dogs, guide dogs, and police dogs defined by law — provided that, according to general public understanding, they are gentle, well-groomed pets, do not endanger the life, health, or physical integrity of Guests or others, can be led on a leash, and are accompanied only by their owner, in compliance with general norms and without disturbing other Guests. If the Operator considers it justified, an employee of Nagyerdei Water Tower may ask the Guest arriving with a pet to use a muzzle and leash, or possibly to leave the premises. Animals — except for assistance dogs, guide dogs, and police dogs defined by law — may not be brought into the enclosed areas of Nagyerdei Water Tower, and the Owner must ensure this. The dog’s Owner is obliged to immediately collect any waste caused by the dog from the garden area and place it in a rubbish bin.
The concert area of the Water Tower Garden has been fitted with wooden decking. Due to weather conditions, gaps and cracks may form in this surface, which may create a tripping hazard. Therefore, please attend our events wearing appropriate footwear. Any gaps, cracks, or openings that may appear in the wooden decking, as well as the characteristics of the natural environment, require increased attention from guests. Despite the above warning, the organizers accept no liability for any tripping, falling, or accidents resulting from guest inattention — particularly due to alcohol intoxication — or from the layout of the venue and its natural characteristics, nor for any consequences arising therefrom.
It is forbidden to bring bicycles onto the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower! Please use the bicycle racks located at our entrances.
Only travel bags or sports bags, laptop bags, backpacks, and nylon bags under 40x30x20 cm may be brought into the concert hall of Nagyerdei Water Tower. It is forbidden to bring in packages larger than this, or umbrellas.
It is FORBIDDEN to bring alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as food, onto the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower!
There is no cloakroom, luggage storage, or valuables storage operating on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower!
In the event of an emergency, the instructions of security staff must be followed, and guests must leave the premises through the gates while remaining calm!
Rules of Conduct

1. The Guest is obliged to behave on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower in accordance with general norms, the applicable legal provisions, and these house rules. The Guest is obliged to refrain from any expression, communication, or act that may endanger or violate the personality rights, life, health, or physical integrity of others. On the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, the Guest is particularly obliged to protect natural values and to refrain from damaging them. The Operator asks Guests to use the rubbish bins for the disposal of waste.

A person may be removed from the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower if they:

endanger the life or physical integrity of other persons or themselves, the property rights of other persons, the integrity of their property, or the natural environment;
do not protect natural values;
engage in disorderly conduct — in general, conduct that is openly antisocial, violent, shocking, alarming, or grossly contrary to the requirements of coexistence, or otherwise provides grounds for police action;
incite against members of other social groups or, through aggressive behavior, otherwise stir up discord among the audience;
do not remove prohibited objects from the premises despite being instructed to do so;
entered Nagyerdei Water Tower other than through the entrance, or were previously removed from it;
enter or remain without permission in an area closed to the public (backstage, construction area, service area, storage area, etc.). If they suffer any accident in these areas, the Operator accepts no liability for it;
are subject to an age restriction or have been banned from the premises by the Operator or Organizer.
The admission fee cannot be reclaimed by anyone who was denied entry or removed for the above reasons.

2. Persons under the age of 18 may not purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. During service at the bars, Guests may be asked to verify their age with a credible document, or may be distinguished at admission with a wristband assisting service.

3. Given that the aim of Nagyerdei Water Tower is to provide cultured and undisturbed entertainment for its Guests, any demonstration is prohibited throughout the entire premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, regardless of the number of participants.

4. Audio and video recording is PROHIBITED throughout the entire premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, including in particular any recording of the performances of event performers that infringes copyright. The Guest is entitled to take photographs at the event, provided that this is done exclusively with a telecommunication device used for personal purposes (for example, a mobile phone or tablet), an integrated image and sound recording device, or non-professional photographic equipment (camera with telephoto lens). Furthermore, the Guest may not sell the image or audio recordings made by them, may not exploit them for remuneration, and may not exploit them for commercial purposes even without remuneration; they may not identify the Guests or other persons appearing in them without their consent, and may not violate their personality rights. The Operator expressly excludes liability in the event that other Guests violate the above. Compliance with legal provisions protecting personality rights and personal data in connection with the taking and processing of photographs is the responsibility of the person taking and/or processing the photographs.

By entering the event area and/or accepting the wristband, you consent to photo, video, and audio recordings being made of you, and to their use by the organizers in connection with the promotion and documentation of the event. If you do not wish to appear in such recordings, you are required to clearly indicate this to the persons making the recordings before the recording takes place. Failure to do so means that you may not subsequently assert any claims, demands, or objections regarding the creation, good-faith use, or publication of such recordings.

5. By entering the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, the Guest acknowledges that audio and video recordings of the Events may be made by the Operator, as well as by contractual partners, contributors, members of the press authorized by the Operator (in accordance with the provisions of their separate contracts), other Guests, and other third parties. Accordingly, by participating in the events, the Guest expressly consents to the recording and communication of their face, appearance, and manifestations, with the proviso that they may be identified by name only with their express consent. A Guest visible in a photograph taken at the event may be highlighted by enlarging or otherwise editing the photograph, and the photograph thus created may be published, only with the Guest’s consent. If the Guest qualifies as a public figure, they may also be identified by name without their consent. With respect to the Guest, the creator of the above appearances acquires an unrestricted, transferable, and exclusive right of use in terms of territory, time, and method of use. Nagyerdei Water Tower and the persons authorized by Nagyerdei Water Tower are entitled, without restriction in relation to the Guest, to exploit and use the appearance — especially for the promotion of events — to reproduce, publish, adapt, make public, communicate to the public, and distribute it, without being required to provide the Guest with any consideration in any form. The Guest separately acknowledges that the Operator records the event, concerts, and programs; reproduces the recorded footage; distributes it on visual media; broadcasts it or otherwise communicates it to the public; rebroadcasts it or otherwise communicates it to the public, including where the event, concerts, or programs are made available to the public by wire or by any other means or method (for example, via YouTube) in such a way that members of the public may individually choose the place and time of access. In connection with the appearance described above, the Guest is not entitled to raise any claim or demand against the Operator.

6. Smoking is prohibited inside the enclosed areas of Nagyerdei Water Tower. The Operator provides a designated smoking area in the garden, more than five meters away from the entrances.

7. In the absence of the Operator’s prior written permission, it is prohibited to carry out any economic, commercial, or advertising activity on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower.

8. For personal and property safety reasons, Nagyerdei Water Tower uses a CCTV camera system on the premises of the facility. The recorded images are deleted within seventy-two hours unless circumstances indicating the commission of a criminal offence or misdemeanor have been recorded. Legal basis for data processing: Article 6(1)(f) and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

9. The organizers accept no liability for accidents occurring outside the premises of the Water Tower.

10. Everyone may use the installed sandbox at their own risk. The sandbox may only be used under adult supervision, up to the age of 10 or a height of 120 centimeters.

11. The lookout tower may only be visited with a purchased visitor ticket. If someone attempts to access the lookout tower without a ticket, or has accessed it without one, an employee of Nagyerdei Water Tower may subsequently request payment of the admission ticket price and may take action to remove the unauthorized visitor. The Operator is not liable for the consequences of accidents resulting from unauthorized access. The lookout tower may not be visited alone.

12. The climbing wall may be used only and exclusively with a purchased climbing wall ticket, with the assistance of climbing instructors. Anyone who climbs the climbing wall alone, without professional assistance, may likewise be instructed to leave the premises immediately. If anyone climbs the climbing wall without climbing instructors, outside the operating hours of the climbing wall, and suffers an accident, they may not assert any claim for damages against the Operator.

13. Jumping on the stairs located on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower and climbing onto the railings are prohibited! The Operator cannot be held liable for accidents or injuries resulting from improper use.

14. Climbing onto the outdoor stage and entering the area behind the stage are strictly prohibited! If any damage is caused to the installed technical equipment due to unauthorized use, the financial consequences shall be borne by the person causing the damage.

Other provisions

If any event is cancelled — does not start at all or must be closed at any stage — for reasons beyond the Operator’s control, due to an external cause or force majeure situation, the Operator shall not be obliged to refund ticket prices, pay compensation, or make any payment under any other legal title. Such cases include, in particular but not exclusively, mandatory evacuation ordered by an authority; extraordinary weather conditions endangering life, physical integrity, or property safety; bomb threats; or any other criminal offence committed by a third party that endangers life, physical integrity, or property safety.
The Guest acknowledges that the Operator is not liable for any damage or misuse arising during or as a result of the use of any payment method, including if the Guest has not reported the loss of their bank card to the financial institution issuing the bank card. The Operator especially accepts no liability for the errors, deficiencies, or security of the payment solution used.
The Guest is fully liable, under both civil and criminal law, for any damage caused on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower by the Guest or by any pet brought in by the Guest, toward the Operator, other Guests, and any other third parties.
On the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower, a service provider contracted with the Operator provides food service seasonally between May and October. The Operator accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of this service; responsibility is borne exclusively by the company providing the food service.
The Operator accepts no liability for damage to or loss of movable property, valuables, packages, bags, etc. brought by Guests onto the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower.
If you notice any irregularity or see an unattended package, please report it immediately to security staff or any of our colleagues.
We accept no liability for lost property! If, in order to return a lost item, any covering or surface of Nagyerdei Water Tower must be dismantled in any form, this is possible only if the owner of the item undertakes to bear the costs of restoring it. We accept no liability for valuables left unattended on the premises of Nagyerdei Water Tower or kept by our Guests. The Operator accepts no liability for any damage that may occur to persons or material assets.
In the event of an emergency, follow the instructions of security staff and leave the premises calmly through the nearest emergency exit!
